We needed somewhere to sleep when evacuated from the bushfire in Glen Forbes. They were really welcoming, the rooms were wonderful, well air conditioned, nice comfy beds and pristine clean rooms. The location, while close to the main road, was peacefully quiet, and the views across the road were lovely. In short; The owners are amazingly kind and accomodating, the rooms/beds are comfortable, and the location is lovely for anyone looking to enjoy the island!Couldnt recommend this place enough!

This is what customer service looks like.The room's furnishings are what you'd expect at a 3.5 star motel - they're a little dated, but everything you need is there, clean, working and quiet. The free wi-fi, extra power power board near the bed for your devices, and the electric blanket bring this motel to a cut above the rest anyway, and the bed was exceedingly comfy - I had a great night's sleep.But where this motel hits it out of the park is the customer service, which started on the phone when I rang about a room and went from there. The manager ( I wish I got his name) offered to give me a lift up to the resort for the wedding reception that I was in San Remo for. He also mentioned that if the room was not booked the day before, I was welcome to check in early to get ready. He made a point to remember my name.Check-in was a breeze (got to say hello to the giant puppy, always good), the manager was good on his offer to take me up to the road to the resort, taking me all the way to the door, and I didn't check out so much as the manager was walking past as I was packing the car and said "I'll take your key if you like".This is now my go-to place when visiting San Remo or Philip Island. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
The best check in expedience I had in a motel. Very kind and welcoming. Rooms are good value for money, spacious and have enough power boards to use for everything, electric heating bed sheets for cold nights, good air conditioning, clean and comfortable shower. Soft drinks and chocolates available in the room as a mini bar. Parking is easy and spacious. Located practically at the bridge towards Phillip Island. Recommended.
